So much for making more frequent posts.

Classes started a week ago, and the work is already piling on. Things have been... varied. Like, in some classes were covering the exact material I did last Winter. Others have been completely new and utterly confusing.

Apart from the classes and the fact that I've been 'under the weather' (so to speak), things have been pretty good lately. Won't go into why right now (it's not like anyone actually reads this anyway)...

I'm thinking about buying a second hand electric guitar... what are the chances that I'll go far? /bto

New Song: "groundwork"

Thursday night I participated in another one of ThaSauce's One Hour Compos. This week's theme was "Temple. You are on sacred grounds."
My entry, 'groundwork', while not my best work, features a percussion section I'm pretty happy with. I didn't have the opportunity to develop the song as much as I'd have liked (mainly because I started on my song 20 minutes late!), but I plan on fleshing out this short demo into a full song.

Also, be sure to check out the other entries this week. The Corridors of Shirley by just64helpin is pretty amazing.

Crack a window, this place needs some fresh air...

Despite all of the work I put into integrating this blog into my portfolio page, I have yet to really use it for... anything at all, really.
So, from now on, I'll make an effort to post at something at least once a week.

To start things off, here's the coolest thing I've seen all day.

Comments system is now better integrated to my portfolio page.

Blog Integration Go!

Alright, so I've just set up a blog feature on my portfolio page. It looks up the RSS feed for my (currently rather generic looking) blogger page, and displays the entries it finds. It also displays a comment counter (which seems to work!) and provides the link to the appropriate comment page. I might change that around so it opens up a page which displays the comment feed for the given post, but I'm not quite sure if that's worth the effort.

I've attempted to adapt the "view older entries / view newer entries" system I created for the main news page for this blog page, but I can't guarentee that'll work as intended. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Signing off for now.
